Degradable Solutions AG is specialized in testing the properties of implants and materials. Degradation behavior of implants is assessed according to ISO 10993-9. Depending on the implant an accelerated in vitro degradation test at elevated temperatures may be applied. Degradable Solutions AG offers a complete testing protocol for assessment of materials properties.

- Mechanical testing at 37°C
- Measuring of molecular weight by inherent viscosity (i.V.)
- Assessment of porosity and surface properties by scanning electron microscopy (SEM)
- pH-changes of immersion medium during degradation
- Inorganic materials content determination by thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA)
- Chemical surface properties by use of infrared spectroscopy (IR)
- Identification of impurities using electron diffraction method (EDX) or IR
