Calcium Phosphates

Calcium phosphates (CaP) are used by DS as a filler for resorbable implants. They can be added to control the acidic degradation behavior of poly lactic acids or poly glycolic acids, where necessary. Also, CaP may be added to increase stiffness of implants.

High purity calcium phosphates (CaP) are produced by DS in house. From these raw materials, several types of products are manufactured. CaP granules are used to regenerate bone defects. Sintered calcium phosphate
